Attorney J.R. Ramirez has over fifteen (15) years of law enforcement experience. He started his law enforcement career with the Mission Police Department, and then transitioned to finish his career with the McAllen Police Department. Throughout those fifteen years JR was exposed to many aspects of law enforcement. JR worked as a street patrol officer, CSI, SWAT Operator and as a detective. JR also testified in many cases as a witness for the state, so he is no stranger to the courtroom. JR's career led him to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2009. Immediately, thereafter JR continued to further his education and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration in 2011 from the University of Texas-Pan American. JR then received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University in December 2015 and was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2016.

The Operations Bureau is tasked with overseeing the day to day operations of all the bureaus. This bureau is also responsible for the staff, contract attorneys and other law office partners.
The Litigation Bureau is responsible for all the cases that need to be litigated. Their duties often include gathering facts and evidence, drafting legal documents, filing paperwork, managing files, organizing depositions, setting up mediation and helping lawyers organize trials.
The Pre-Litigation Bureau typically takes the lead during pre-claim investigation. They are responsible for locating and interviewing witnesses, taking statements from witnesses, gathering evidence, creating case investigation folders, and preparing a chronology of facts for the case. This bureau is usually the ones the client deals with first.
The Receptionist Bureau is responsible for, greeting clients and visitors and answering visitor inquiries, and routing incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system, scheduling and routing clients, maintaining and scheduling conference rooms, maintaining the waiting area, lobby or other public areas, serving coffee or tea to guests, ordering supplies, scanning, photocopying, faxing and filing documents, and collecting and routing mail and hand-delivered packages.
